Haredown Mountain Boarding Centre was delighted to welcome the ATBA National Series for the final ’09 round last weekend. The racing is highlighted by the ultimate best UK riders competing against each other in the Open Elite – all seeking the overall Boarder cross Champions title.

Brian and Shari got married at The Chapel within the grounds of The Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa. The Ceremony was held early evening so the Chapel was absolutely full of church candles making the Ceremony really beautiful and memorable.

Jason and Katy are very hard working Caterers that of course did themselves proud by serving all their own guests at Shripney Manor! The ceremony was held at the lovely church of St. Mary's Felpham. Then it was back to Shripney Manor where the gardens and grounds looked amazing. It's not often I get to photograph a wedding right on my own doorstep!

I absolutely love this image! Just give children some hats and glasses, and 'click bang, what a photograph'! Just captures children at their best having a great time inside the groovybooth that was laid on for all the guests to enjoy. Looking forward to catching up with you guys after your Barbados honeymoon.

Well Tracy did a really good job on her wedding day as she told me she absolutely hated having her picture taken (wish I had a £1 for every time one of my clients tells me that!), so I tried to blend in with the furniture, buildings, guests where possible. She looked stunning in her Monsoon wedding dress. The Court Room at Christ's Hospital was the amazing backdrop for Jonathon and Tracy's wedding. Absolutely beautiful architecture, English heritage at it's best, and so quiet around the buildings you could of heard a pin drop.

Spot the rings... ?? I don't normally put detail shots on to the blog, but these bay trees were so affective with there fairy lights at Tithe Barn that I just had to give Nigel of The Topiary Company a mention!

Joanna is one of those amazing brides that thinks of everything for her special day. The little details from their colour scheme, her dress, the amazing decorations, down to asking me whether I would like chicken for my supper at their reception (by the way it was delicious)!

Of course with Joanna thinking of all the special details they were married at the grand The Tithe Barn which is a Grade 11 listed building restored back to it's original state. If your looking for somewhere contemporary but with a bit of grandeur, this is for you.

How many games can you fit in on a wedding day?

I had the best time with Drew and Kimberly last week at their wedding in Earnley. Drew and Kimberly were so relaxed and open to all kind of shots that would make their day fun, memorable and add great variation for their wedding album. This was a great recipe for photographic success and wonderful to have a memorable story with a difference to reflect back on. If I had a pound for every time someone tells me they hate being photographed, I'd be a rich woman, but it's so important to be able to enjoy the photography and let the story of your wedding day unfold. Before your special day we always talk through the organisation of your day so we can work in the photography in an easy natural progression throughout your day, this works really well so you know what to expect and enjoy.

Westergate Community School, based just on the outskirts of Bognor Regis going up towards Fontwell specialises in visual and performing arts. Westergate is a mixed comprehensive catering for all levels of ability in the crucial secondary years of schooling. Here is just a very small selection of images from their two day Arts Day. The day had a great atmosphere and the children and teachers were very absorbed in all their exciting activities. Well done everyone involved and have a fantastic summer break.

June and July is always a very busy month for all kinds of events, and in fact I often find they can double up on the same day! Of course for school leavers it's a really exciting time with new beginnings and going out in style with the school prom. Abby and all of her friends got together to hire a huge Hummer to ensure they really arrived in style up at the Avisford Park Hotel.

This time of year is amazing for the wonderful evening light. Early evening is a fantastic time for when the sun is low in the sky and Voila, you get some magical shots, therefore being one of my favourite times of the day and year for capturing beautiful images. With Mercy, our lovely model, who could go wrong?

Thanks for a fun shoot set in the beautiful peaceful surroundings of Earnley Concourse which is situated in rural Earnley, West Sussex. It is a purpose-designed residential centre, offering a year-round programme of leisure interest courses and activity weeks, and is really fantastic for getting away from it all so go on treat yourself.

I had a great morning photographing Katie in her home. Being a huge fan of Pre-Raphaelite paintings, I can't help but think of the classics when I look at Katie. She has stunning red classical hair and the looks of a Pre-Raphaelite Goddess! I set up a mini studio and put my muscles to the test by rearranging their front room with all my gear. All in a good day's work! As the weather was behaving itself for once we were able to also have fun enjoying their lovely garden as a great back drop for some nice lifestyle shots giving plenty of variation with the controlled lighting of the studio shots. Wishing Katie a very special 18th Birthday.

Steven and Andrea had the perfect June wedding day at the wonderful backdrop of Chilworth Manor, Hampshire. Chilworth Manor has a wonderful area at the back of it's gardens that is a conservation area and ideal for gathering shots which are different from the venue. I most highly recommend a wedding there and you will find that the staff are very helpful. Andrea and Steven had a very informal relaxed wedding. Here are just a couple of their images of the day.

Watch out The Rife, we're not far behind!

Well Britain certainly does have talent, and in great shape with The Rife performing live at Eastergate Farm last Saturday night. It was a brilliant evening held in the barn with all five members of The Rife rocking it out all in aid of Eastergate Primary School. I consider myself very fortunate to have Gordon and Aileen as my friends. But Gordon is also my Mentor and has spent endless time trying to knock me into good wedding photographic shape!

Last week I travelled to Scotland to help Gordon with a wedding and then to enjoy some fun landscape photography up at Glencoe. I highly recommend a visit there, stunning vistas!

Roger and Charly's Wedding

It was a great pleasure to photograph Roger and Charly's wedding at The Ship Hotel in Chichester and then on to Edes House for the Ceremony. Their Ceremony was very unique with both Roger and Charly giving each other an individual Reading, which everyone found very touching.

Roger and Charly then took time out to have photographs over at The Bishop's Gate Gardens which rounded off the afternoon's photography beautifully. Having lots of different back drops on your wedding day really makes your wedding album an interesting and unique style.
